Cottage breakfast...

today I made a cottage cheese-berrie bowl for a healthy boost of vitamin, protein and carbs. I need them because I am very busy today and have to stay full until 1 o'clock whuiiii.

Ingredients

half cup of cottage cheese
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 scoop protein powder
1 tablespoon oats
3 fresh mint leafs
1 tablespoon wheat germs

Toppings

bowl of mixed berries

Put everything in a mixer and mix until smooth. I have already a tall smoothie shaker but for stuff like that I need a little easy handling cutter. I saw one for half price in one of our supermarket and bought it :) and it's perfect to make things like that. Cut onions, cut cheese to parmesan, make pesto, cut herbs etc...I'm loving it!

After transfer cottage cheese in a bowl and put the berries over it.

Enjoy it with a glass of pomegranate juice, tea or coffee.

*Have a nice day*

old armoire found a new place to be...

Hello, I don't know how old this armoire is but I think it was from my grandpa or grand-grandpa!?

Once, when I was a little girl this pretty old thing was my wardrobe but soon I needed a bigger one because I had to many clothes ;) Until last week it was standing for about 10 years in my parent's guestroom but now they got a new one and I got my old one back yeahh. Even it's not the newest furniture I really like it and it fits perfect in our new basement/laundry room. When I am finish with painting all the walls I will show you some more picture about the whole new remodel room.

I keep all the bed linen, bathtowels and fabrics in there. But as I see it's already full haha..and I totally have some more stuff uhmmmm

Right now I don't wanna paint it. The old original structure looks too nice to change it.

*Maybe someday*

Before / After stool...

this ugly stool I found for some $$ in a thriftstore. With some ideas in head I bought it immediately.
Back home it tooked me about an hour to refresh that little thing.
From some old bed linen I cut out the pillow and tacked it to the pillowframe.
I sanded the wood, painted the stool in a mint green and fixed it with a paintfixer.

Voilà

shabby chic rose clothes hangers...

Today I had time to tinker again. I always wanted to refresh my boring clothes hangers and this is something I have now succeeded.

Your needs:

nice napkin
scissors
brush
decoupage glue
newspaper
fantasy

With the decoupage technique I decorated my white boring Ikea hangers into beautiful shabby chic hangers. The technique is very simple. With the decoupage glue, which you can get in any craft store, paint  the hanger with a small brush. That the surface doesn't dries out, I've always done it step by step. I have measured out about how big the napkin piece should be and put it carefully on the wet surface. Then paint again over with the decoupage glue and let it dry.

Each hanger is a handmade unique piece, because you place the napkin criss-cross. It always looks good. The whole thing takes a bit of patience, but the result is awesome. For now I leave it by 4 pieces, but when I have some free time again I might going to do some more hangers.
