...this is typical Swiss meal where you roll two spoons dough with meat in it into a swisschard leaf and boil it until dough is well done.
Eat it just with melted butter and salvia or make a homemade white cheese cream sauce.
I love the cheese sauce over it and bake it in the oven.
Homemade growing swiss chard |
Dough with meat and parsley |
Boiling until hard about 10min |
Put them next each other for a clean freezing |
If you wanna freeze them put them next to each other so they won't break into pieces when you'll take them out from the freezer. You can broil them in a pan or bake'em with cheeseflakes and some butter in the oven until they are warm inside.
Don't forget to take out the sticks before you enjoy |
Here is the recipe if you wanna try it out. It's so easy and delicious but you need some time to prepare it.
Ingredients for 20 pieces, about 4-5 pieces per person:
- 400 g flour (1/2 white 1/2 brown)
- 3 eggs
- 1 dl water
- 1 dl milk
- salt and pepper
- 2 Landjäger (meat like salami)
- cut parsley
- 20 pieces swisschard leaf
- 2 litre water for boiling
Put everything in to mixer and mix until smooth sticky dough.
- For the white sauce:
- flour, butter mixed in the pan, stir, stir, stir...
- add milk until smooth and still stir and add as much cheese as you love.
*Enjoy your meal*
