Shabby kids furnitures...

The new boy's collection

this weekend my best friend came over with her hubby and her baby boy, my boy a little bit too :) and we had a wonderful time together. For his future boys room they brought me a little sweet table three stools and a nightstand to transform and give them a new fresh kick. These old furniture didn't looked nice at all.

before
We went to the do-it-yourself store bought some paint and paint fixer and got ready to paint that stuff.
Her decision went for a mint-white fresh boys color which combines everything very well. All in one we had about 3h to finish all five items. It's so incredible what you can do with old stuff if you have some free time, pleasure to do it and good ideas. The result is so nice, hope the little boy likes it too :)

Leftover strawberrie smoothie...

I like bright red colored strawberries because they have a natural juicy texture and sweetness. You can consume it in large quantities because they are very low in calories and healthy for your skin and overall body. Either fresh or in prepared foods such as fruit juice, pies, ice creams or milkshakes you can find them.

I bought 1 kilo strawberries in the supermarket. They were on a very low price you never will get again this summer. But you can't hold them for ages at home. So I've cut a couple strawberries in slices and froze them. With the rest I made a delicious 1 Liter strawberrie smoothie.
Just put milk, nature yogurt, water, mint leaves, flaxseeds and 1 scoop protein powder together in a blender and add some strawberries. Blend and enjoy as much as you can drink. The rest fill in a bottle and consume within a few days.

Bulgur (also bulghur, burghul or bulgar) Salad...

I think last week I've done my best Tabouleh salad ever.
This dish is most common in European, Middle Eastern and South Asian cuisine. I made my version of a mediterranean salad last week. It tasted so good. I could eat the whole pan. But the leftover were intended for next days lunch at work.

The recipe is so easy. I used pre cooked Bio Bulgur from Alnatura. It only takes you about 15 min. to cook.

Meanwhile cut some paprikas, zucchini, tomatoes, onions, feta cheese and fresh herbs like coriander, parsley or basilic. If you take some coriander buy it at an asian store, there it's fresh and it tastes much more then from a normal supermarket. And the basilic, take it from your garden if you have one ;)
For the sauce I just left some little bit of water in the pan and squirt some fresh lemonjuice over it. Put everything together and let it rest for 1h in the fridge. It tastes warm or cold, whatever you like.

*Bon appetite*

healthy quick lunch...

Wrap with salad, cheese, turkey, paprika, tomatoe and avocado

for my little lunch appetite I made a healthy wrap with leftover veggies, turkey and cheese.
As sauce I used some nature yogurt instead heavy mayo or sourcreme, put a dash salt on it and it's nearly the same, even better.

*Always enjoy your meal*
